What size skip do I need?

It depends on what you’re clearing. Sometimes one large skip is more cost-effective than two smaller ones. Take a look at our Skip Sizes page to see the full breakdown and find the best fit for your job.

My driveway isn’t large enough. can my skip go on the road?

If a skip needs to go on the road, you’ll need permission from your parish hall. Just let us know a few days beforehand so the permit can be arranged in time.

How long can I hire the skip for?

Skip hire is usually for up to two weeks from delivery. For horse manure skips, we recommend changing them over every two months, as the contents can start to rot the skip. For more details, see our Terms & Conditions.

If I need a second skip, when will it arrive?

We aim to deliver same-day whenever possible. Just give us a quick call when you’re ready for the next one and we’ll do our best to get it to you right away.

How can I pay for my skip?

We currently accept bank transfer or cheques by post. We’re also looking to introduce card payments soon so you’ll be able to pay over the phone.

How soon can I get my skip?

We always try to deliver on the same day you book. Occasionally demand can fluctuate, but we’ll always get your skip to you as soon as possible.

What happens if the waste goes above the sides of my skip?

Some materials can’t be disposed of in a skip. When ordering, our team will let you know what’s acceptable. If you’re ever unsure, just give us a quick call before loading.

What access do you require?

Our lorries are roughly 2.5m wide and 3.5m high, so please make sure there’s enough room to deliver and collect your skip. If access isn’t available when we arrive, a wasted-trip charge may apply.

For horse manure skips in fields, please consider ground conditions - if it’s too wet, our lorries may not be able to reach the site.

Will a heavy skip damage my driveway?

To protect your driveway, you can lay timber or sheets of ply before delivery. Make sure the surface can handle the combined weight of the skip and vehicle (up to 17 tonnes).
